Internationally, some countries will introduce some patent compensation period systems to extend the protection period of drug patents, but at the same time, they will also introduce some restrictive measures, such as compulsory licensing of patents and other systems, which will form a balance between the two systems.

From the perspective of public interest, if our pharmaceutical companies do not have the motivation to develop new and effective drugs as soon as possible, it will actually be a great harm to the public interest.
