According to the China Youth Development Report released by China Youth Research Center and the International Liaison Department of the Communist Youth League Central Committee in 2018, there are about 30 million children and adolescents under the age of 17 suffering from various emotional disorders and behavioral problems in China. According to the World Health Organization’s prediction, before 2020, the psychological disorder of children in the world will increase by 50%, which will become one of the main causes of illness, disability and death.

According to the data released by the Children’s Development Center of Beijing Medical University, there are more than 100,000 suicides among children, adolescents and college students every year in China.
