Girls from Zhejiang University have learned to cook in 4 professional high schools in 6 years (Figure)

She studied in Zhejiang University for six years, spanning three professional fields, and got the fourth professional entry qualification last week; She is also the chef of Zhejiang University. After studying, she likes to seduce her friends with delicious food. Today, we are going to tell a story that clearly has a face value, but it depends on talent.

Yesterday, when the reporter contacted Qiu Han, a girl from Zhejiang University born in 1994, she was on vacation in Hainan, and it was her habit to walk around.

In 2016, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in law from Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University and a minor in management from ITP (Intensive Course of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management of Zhu Kezhen College). When she was studying, she chose Marxist College. In October this year, because of her excellent grades, she submitted an application for changing from a doctoral degree to a major after completing her master’s degree. Last week, she passed an interview with the School of Humanities of Zhejiang University to pursue a doctoral program in leisure aesthetics in the School of Humanities.

However, what made Qiu Han a legend of Zhejiang University was not only that she changed her major to four in six years, but that the girl was actually a chef. Before that, she cooked the UNDERWOOD restaurant in the alumni forest next to the crescent building in Zijingang, Zhejiang University.

  From law to leisure aesthetics

I changed four majors in six years.

Qiu Han traveled to Sanya with her parents and grandmother this time, not only because she had free time after changing from a master’s degree to a postdoctoral degree, but also because she wanted to let her family learn to enjoy life through this trip. "My parents collapsed when they heard that I was going to study leisure aesthetics." Qiu Han’s parents believe that leisure aesthetics is illusory and difficult to find employment, and frequent cross-majors may increase academic pressure and affect graduation.

Leisure aesthetics is a new discipline in China in recent years, which is the intersection of leisure science and aesthetics. It explores the aesthetic relationship between leisure and human life, and the essence of life. Qiu Han’s choice of leisure aesthetics is not impulsive.

During his master’s degree, Qiu Han majored in ideological and political education, studied Marxist philosophy, and had doubts about what is beauty and what is life. After understanding Marx’s theory of free time, she found that "leisure" is an important but long-neglected part of human society. After that, she took the course "Traditional Aesthetic Philosophy of China" offered by Pan Liyong, a teacher from the School of Humanities. Deeply moved by his personality and thoughts, she decided to take the interdisciplinary subject of leisure and beauty as the direction of doctoral study.

After a month and a half of attack and defense and push and pull, Qiu Han finally persuaded his parents and finally succeeded in changing his blog. However, for her, this experience is no stranger.

"When I chose Marxist College for my master’s degree, my parents, friends, teachers of Guanghua Law School, ITP and even teachers of Marxist College thought I was joking." Talking about the past, the tone of the chairman of the Marxist Institute’s research fair has been relaxed.

Qiu Han, who studied in Guanghua Law School as an undergraduate, joined ITP in his sophomore year and obtained ITP’s postgraduate qualification with excellent results. According to the practice of Zhejiang University, students with ITP qualification can choose any college in the school to pursue postgraduate studies. Qiu Han’s choice is Marxist College.

The professor of law school couldn’t believe his eyes, thinking that Qiu Han had filled it in wrong.

But Qiu Han has no "game". She has read relevant works of Marxist theory, and also talked with Zhang Yinghang, a teacher of Marxist Institute, who became her graduate tutor. "Now, many people have not read Marx’s original works and have a dogmatic misunderstanding of Marxist theory, and the deeper the misunderstanding, the greater the potential for creating new things."

  High school institute cooking

The university has become a kitchen god.

Most people in Zhejiang University know Qiu Han, more because she used to be a beauty chef in the alumni forest of Zijin Port.

A wooden restaurant called UNDERWOOD is full of elegant and romantic candlelight. A beautiful female chef cooks curry prawns for lovers or friends. When the guitar is played, the song vibrates Lin Yue. Such a scene, in the grove beside the crescent building, was really staged.

On December 5, 2013, UNDERWOOD opened in the Alumni Forest, which was very popular. The guests who came to eat were in an endless stream, and even the appointment was arranged two months later. However, who would have thought that the chef and partner of the restaurant was only a sophomore girl.

"I have a strong interest in the kitchen since I was a child." Qiu Han is recognized as a chef by his classmates. He was once the champion of the Zhejiang University Chef God Competition. Because of his natural sensitivity to the stomach, Qiu Han had to form the habit of being selective about his diet and keep away from fried, spicy and unhealthy snacks. And this kind of diet, but also let her unexpectedly harvested keen taste buds.

In the first year of high school, she left her hometown Lishui to study in Jinhua No.1 Middle School. The boring food in the school cafeteria made her think of cooking by herself. Her first attempt was at the home of a high school classmate. Qiu Han made a bowl of scrambled eggs with tomatoes. Her classmate, however, licked the scrambled egg upside down.

For cooking, Qiu Han has her own philosophy. She said: "The more simple dishes look, the more difficult it is to cook delicious."

Qiu Han has eight ways to make a bowl of scrambled eggs with tomatoes — — Aauto Quicker tomato scrambled eggs, Shanghai tomato scrambled eggs (sweet mouth), soft tomato scrambled eggs (American), Hong Kong tomato scrambled eggs, traditional tomato scrambled eggs, juicy tomato scrambled eggs, healthy tomato scrambled eggs (low sugar and little oil) and special tomato scrambled eggs for bibimbap.

It was this love of cooking that gave Qiu Han the idea of opening a restaurant, and UNDERWOOD was born.

Under the care of four partners, including her, UNDERWOOD had more than 20 employees when it was the largest. Although the store closed due to various pressures, it still left a good feeling in the hearts of many people in Zhejiang University.
