The China-Europe Women’s Film Exhibition, sponsored by the film-watching media and the China-Europe Film Club, was officially launched at the Chopard dinner held during the Cannes International Film Festival. The film festival was co-sponsored by Celina Jade, a new generation actress, Xu Shujun, deputy general manager of China Film Co-production Company, Wang Manhao, chairman of Asia-Pacific Outstanding Women’s Federation, Cao Mali, co-founder/president of Liding Film, and Ying Yang, CEO of Watching Film International.
The China-Europe Women’s Film Exhibition will jointly exhibit six excellent films directed by China and European female directors, and hold a forum for female filmmakers at the same time, together with the old Hong Kong cinema The Grand Cinema, Mar Vivo, French Cultural Center and French Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau. The event also received strong support from the Asia-Pacific Outstanding Women’s Federation and Ying Ying Holdings.

The Hong Kong Station Female Filmmaker Forum will be held at The Grand Cinema at 17: 45 on June 24th, with the theme of "How female filmmakers create opportunities for themselves". The forum will be hosted by Ms. Ai Qiuxing, President and CEO of Perfect Weixiu Entertainment Group. The forum guests include Shi Nansheng, a famous Hong Kong producer; Wang Yichun, director of What’s in the Black; Liu Yulin, director of One sentence is worth ten thousand sentences; Zeng Zeng, director of Cloud Water; Xu Xinxian, director of Bone Girl; and Bai Hai, director of White Girl.
