It is reported that BYD Qin Pro will open the pre-sale at the developer conference held in Wuzhen on September 5, 2018.
From the appearance point of view, Qin pro adopts the family Dragon Face design designed by Wolfgang Eiger for BYD. The large-area multi-frame air intake grille occupies the main space of the front face, and the transverse U-shaped chrome trim strips connect the headlights on both sides, forming the main part of the "Dragon King Face".
Side modeling is the biggest highlight of Qin Pro’s appearance. Through-going "Youlong prancing waistline" and slip-back style design are in line with sports style, which is more sharp with the previous dive posture of low and then high.
In contrast, the tail shape is quite satisfactory, and the most popular transverse headlights are selected, which also continues the consistent style of BYD family. At the same time, like Tang DM, Qin Pro also set a speed nameplate on the back, and the 5.9s logo shows that its acceleration time of 100 kilometers is still 5.9s..
The lengthening of the size is the most obvious change of Qin Pro compared with the previous generation Qin. The length, width and height of Qin Pro are 4765mm*1837mm*1495mm, and the wheelbase is 2718mm, which completely surpasses the previous generation models and has advantages compared with Roewe ei6 and Emgrand PHEV.
Like the new generation of Tang dynasty, Qin Pro is also equipped with a large LCD central control screen that can rotate 90 degrees on the center console, supplemented by an LCD instrument panel, which fully reflects its sense of science and technology. The application of a large number of wood grain decorative boards has further improved the interior texture, and the seat has adopted a brand-new design, which has improved the comfort to a certain extent.
In terms of configuration, Qin Pro has added ACC adaptive cruise, 360 panoramic image and other practical configurations, and electronic gear lever, electronic handbrake and other configurations have also been continued on Qin Pro.
In July, BYD sold 18,800 new energy vehicles, up 67% year-on-year, and 18,500 fuel vehicles, up 8% year-on-year. The sales of new energy vehicles surpassed fuel vehicles for the first time. The sales volume of Yuan EV360 reached 4,147 vehicles, becoming the sales champion of BYD’s new energy family, while the sales volume of the new generation of Tang DM reached 3,551 vehicles in July.
At the upcoming Chengdu Auto Show, another heavy new energy vehicle of BYD, Song EV500, will be launched on August 31st, and the pure electric version of the brand-new Tang will be launched at the end of the year. At the previous communication and sharing meeting, BYD said that it would promote "e-platform", luxury car-making platform and BYD’s third-generation DM technology in future products.
With the decline of national new energy policy subsidies, BYD has faced a more severe test than before. Earlier, Wang Chuanfu, chairman and president of BYD, said in an interview: "The new energy market in the next five years can only be eliminated by the stronger and the weaker.
