    Huarong Company transformed the original three standard workshops with four-story frame structure, with a total construction area of 36,000 square meters, to create standardized apartments for the aged. The 2nd-4th floors of each building were converted into standard rooms, with a total of 600 rooms, each with an area of 30 square meters, which can accommodate 1,200 elderly people. Pension apartment covers an area of only 27.5 mu.
    In addition to the residential area of the apartment for the aged, Huarong Company demolished some of the ancillary buildings within the original industrial land to make a small park covering an area of about 20 mu, providing public leisure spaces such as parks, green spaces and squares for the elderly, creating beautiful outdoor landscapes, making the elderly feel fresh, elegant and comfortable, which is beneficial to their physical and psychological health.
    There is a nursing home in the health park, with complete departments and medical care facilities. There are more than 20 clinical, medical technology and functional departments such as internal medicine, surgery, traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation medicine, hospice care, physiotherapy, expert clinic and medical laboratory, radiology, color Doppler ultrasound, electrocardiogram, Chinese and western pharmacies.     IV. Application Prospect (Scope of Use)
    Rugao Longevity Health Park, which is built by using the land-saving mode of old-age service facilities in stock industrial factories, has 380 elderly people living, relaxing and supporting the elderly. It is the nursing home with the largest number of elderly people in Nantong, including many elderly people from the Yangtze River Delta region such as Shanghai, Suzhou and Taizhou. It has become a longevity health demonstration area in East China, which has enhanced the cultural brand effect of Rugao as a "world longevity town" and completely changed the small scale, low grade, low service level and service of private pension institutions in Nantong. It can effectively meet the needs of the society for providing for the aged, so that the elderly who live in can enjoy a variety of group life such as accommodation, nursing, medical care and recreation, and can truly realize the "security, medical care, education, health care, learning and happiness" for the elderly, a vulnerable group. Rugao strongly supports social capital to invest in healthy old-age service projects, and encourages the adoption of a five-year transition policy to revitalize existing idle factories and set up non-profit old-age service facilities.
